Denmark, Norway and Sweden form the Scandinavian Grand Lodge of Druidism (SGLD).
October 9-10, 2009 a meeting took place at Kongsberg, Norway. In the presence of all Scandinavian Supreme Grand Lodges 114 new candidates were introduced in IGLD - a remarkable event.
Svensk Druid Tidning No. 9 / November 2009 reports that a group of representatives from all Scandinavian countries has been formed with the intention to publish results from IGLDīs Munich Congress by the end of 2009.
Important IGLD objects:
- publish new Constitution,
- extension of IGLD to other countries,
- extend membership within affiliated countries,
- improve homepage of IGLD
Additional SGLD objectives:
- inspire other countries to adopt successful Scandinavian work and principles,
- coordinate ritual work within Scandinavia,
- individual SGLD homepage,
- prepare Copenhagen Congress 2012
SGLD as of October 2009 has 1954 IGLD members.
