Sources available report that in 1879 UAOD came to New Zealand.
The first Druid Lodge “Excelsior” was founded by Br. Harry Alexander in Wellington with permission of Grand Lodge Victoria, UAOD Australia.
In 1907 Grand Lodge New Zealand with 11 lodges and 562 members got its independence.
In 1913 New Zealand participated in a representative Druid meeting in London.
