Scandinavian Grand Lodge of Druidism (SGLD):

SGLD had a ritual meeting at Karlstad, Sweden, October 13, 2007.

2 countries are in the meantime publishing their Druid magazines in PDF-Format: Sweden and Norway. This is not only interesting under economical views. Many Scandinavian Brothers seek the sun in the Mediterranean areas and are keen to have actual lodge information available through the internet.

UAOD Norway has 2600 brothers today, among them 907 IGLD members. The order is planning to charter the 1st Grand Lodge in Iceland in autumn 2008. Grand Officers are nominated already and will be prepared thouroughly in performing GL ritual meetings etc.

UAOD Danmark had its “RIGSMOEDE” November 18, 2007. Bro Flemming Ib Petersen is the new SGA now and Bro Hans Joergen Hansen the new SGSecr. Congratulations!

The Birgitta-Lodge in Sweden was chartered in 1990. Today there are 13 lodges already, successfully working under 2 independent Grand Lodges: Grand Lodges “Södra Kronan” and “Norra Kronan”, established in Sept 2007.

UAOD Germany

UAOD Germany has chartered new lodges at Konstanz, Hechingen, and Hannover. Plans are on the way, to have 2 new lodges at Lindau and Duisburg.

Grand Lodge Rhineland-Westphalia celebrated its centenary in October 2007. Grand Lodge Bavaria will have its 125th birthday in April 2008.

The German “Ordenstag”, the highest decision making body, will take place in April 2008 at Frankfurt/M.
